Tulip Festival

Some days you just have to stop and smell the flowers.

This week we went to the main site for the Tulip Festival to check it out. At first AJ was disappointed, "Where is the playstructure at this park?" she wanted to know. "What do you mean, there isn't one? Where is the food then?"

What do you mean, there's no food here.???? What are we going to DO?"

The girls were moderately interested in the history bit....

And the artist in the park was worth a stare for a while...

But finally the blooms won her over. AJ really got into it and insisted on taking a close up photo of almost every tulip.
