The Big Snow

Like many in Ontario, we got whacked with about 30 cm of snow last Sunday. It was quite the storm, and since it came on top of a solid 40 cm that was already on the ground, the snowbanks are now quite amazing.

We got bored during the storm and decided to head for the mall! We live close enough to sled, and I figured it would be the one time we were able to do some Christmas shopping without a million people there. We were right - no surprise.

The girls had a blast on the ride there, but the best part was definitely getting to spend all the time they wanted with Santa. There was no line up for a change!

We've been having a great time in the snow. The big fun is that AJ can now walk up into her climbing tree in our front yard. In the summer, getting up into the tree requires a boost from Dad (Mom is too short).

Now she can scamper right up all by herself.
