Ying-er 2006

We adopted our daughter Charlotte Xiao from China in 2006. ("ying-er" means baby in mandarin). This blog tells our story about building a family of 4, and the on-going joys/trials in our lives.

Mostly photos

Remember in the last post when I said that I hated November? Well, this year is no exception. I'll spare you the details, but the last two weeks have been all about the stomach flu. Grim. It went something like this: Charlotte, AJ (she set the puking record - 11 times in 12 hours), fine for 2 days, then AJ, AJ again, back to Charlotte, and then last night both of them. Really grim.

Here are some photos of fun things we did when we weren't vomiting, cleaning up, or doing laundry.

Before all the ickiness began, we had a great visit with the other Group 230 Dianbai babies that live right here in our fair city It is absolutely amazing to see how the girls have grown, and how well they are all doing.

Serving up some mini ritz crackers. Charlotte's new thing is 'playing house'.
